The location is right next to terminal D in the port of Tallinn. This is a no frills hotel and the outside looks like a gray box, but inside has a "rock and retro" theme...!
There is a dining room with good food at reasonable prices and a terrace. The staff is friendly and helpful.
If you want to make a call, you need to leave a deposit to open the line. I needed to call Finland - talked for 2 minutes - and it was very expensive - much more than calling the USA from a hotel in Italy the previous week, so watch that expense.

I found getting a Tallinn card the best and easiest way to get tours and use public transportation.
Have dessert and a drink at the Three Sisters Hotel and ask for a tour if they're not busy.... tip the person.
Take bus 67 or 68 to the Kumu museum and see other sights in that park.
Souvenirs.... market is on Wed and everyone sells the same kind of things. The shops may take credit cards, but most market vendors won't.

Hotel is at ferry terminal D, only 10 minutes walk to medieval Old Town or modern city centre. Cheap and tasty food available in hotel. If your ferry comes in to Linnahall, taxi to hotel should cost about 60 EEK.

Kadriorg Park is an easy walk from the hotel. Bus stop opposite hotel serves city centre, bus station and airport. From the bus station take a ride to Parnu (1.5hrs),8 euro for lovely beach on the Baltic Sea.

This was a very reasonably priced hotel in a good location. The service was great. The central part of Tallinn, old town, is just a short walk away.
